In 1974, Jim Hamilton and Dick Perlman, two guys with an American dream founded Creative Packaging as a small independent corrugated sheet plant, committed to providing quality and service at competitive prices to all customers.

Twenty-five years later, the same ideals of quality and service drive our organization, although much has changed. We have evolved from a small sheet plant with three employees, one truck and limited manufacturing equipment to an independent corrugated company, making our own corrugated board with 80 employees, seven trucks, fifty trailers and a full line of corrugated box manufacturing equipment.

In order to continue our corporate growth and better control the source of paper to produce boxes, in 1996 we built a paper mill. The paper mill operates as a separate company, Creative Paper, Inc., employing 70 persons. The paper produced is 100% recycled, i.e. our raw material is old corrugated cartons. 20% of the paper mill production is consumed by our box business. The balance of our paper production is sold to large multi-national paper companies and independent corrugators across America and into Canada. Creative Packaging, Inc. and Creative Paper, Inc., working together, share the first (and only) manufacturing facility in America to make paper and corrugated boxes under one roof.
