Recycling Programs

Corrugated cardboard is one of the most highly recyclable materials today. At our facility in Worcester, Creative Paper turns old corrugated cardboard into 100% recycled paper. Creative Packaging then uses the recycled paper to manufacture new boxes. To see more information on the environmental and economic benefits of recycling, please click here.

Creative Paper and Packaging(CP) strongly believes in the recycling process and feels it is absolutely necessary for the future. Because of this commitment, we look for environmentally conscious businesses that wish to partner with us in our recycling project. This is why we have developed our free recycling programs.

The following are a sample of CP’s basic recycling programs. However, we are eager to custom design a program that will specifically suit your company.

Pallets
Your company stacks your old corrugated cardboard on to pallets. You may use as many pallets as you need by just strapping full pallets and starting new ones. When CP comes to deliver new boxes, we will remove the full pallets. If you accumulate too many pallets before the next delivery, CP is more than willing to arrange an additional removal.

Gaylord Boxes
CP will provide your company with 48x40 open topped bins in which to place flattened boxes. We will remove and replace the Gaylords as they are filled.

Trailers
CP will bring an empty trailer to your facility, and will replace this trailer as it is filled.

Equipment
CP will assist in the installation and maintenance of a compactor or bailer at your facility. This is the best option if your company generates a high volume of good clean old corrugated cardboard.

Corrugated cardboard is easy to recognize because of its three layers: two flat layers with a wavy layer in the middle. The boxes need to be flattened, dry, clean and empty. CP can also recycle boxes with glue, staples, and tape.

Unfortunately, some cardboard cannot be recycled. This includes cardboard with permanently attached packing material such as glued in foam or stapled wood, wax-coated cardboard often used in meat and produce packaging, or single layer boxboard and chipboard used to make shoe or cereal boxes.

CP hopes to create the best program for your company with no added expenses.
